Before Boarding the Holland America ms Veendam on 12 July 2014

On 12 July 2014 Phil and I will board the ms Veendam at the Black Falcon Terminal in Boston Harbor for a five week journey from Boston to Amsterdam returning to Boston on the same route stopping at different ports.   The real beauty of this trip -- other than the glorious scenery-- is that there will be no flying involved.  We are looking forward to stopping at some of the less populated ports which we would otherwise not visit -- as well as a return to Amsterdam -- a first visit to Scotland -- and several ports in Iceland.   Days one and two on the Veendam are "sea" days so the blog posts will not start in earnest until mid-July.  I suggest that you enter your e-mail into the box just under the blog title so you will receive notification when blog posts are available.   I have no idea what the "wifi" situation is in the North Atlantic but am soon to find out.  We would love to have you join us as we explore this part of the world.
